The repertoire I have developed offers a wealth of dances
that flourished between 1730 and 1780.
These will all be shown again at the ball.
Nevertheless, it is also good for the more experienced dancers
to go through all the dances once or twice before the ball
in a relaxed atmosphere and, if necessary,
learn the differences in the different versions
(e.g. my very different version of Mr. Beveridge's Maggot).
This also allows you to get to know the other ball participants a little.
Because the ball itself is always over far too quickly...
This course is limited to a relatively brisk dance through
all the ball dances together with the participants of the preparatory course.
Anyone who cannot attend the ball is also welcome to come
and get to know all these beautiful dances with us.
During the courses, German is mainly spoken.
At the ball, all calls are now in German and English,
but the historical English names for the dance figures are still used.
I base my work on the figure catalogs of the era.
The collected dance descriptions are sent out
before the event and made available on the website.
