As already described, we dedicate our festivities entirely to the "Le Bon Genre" format. Instead of counting stitches, we create a perfect optical illusion together in the magnificent setting of Eichstätt. The Grand Masquerade Ball in particular offers you the perfect space to leave everyday life behind and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the Rococo with joy and ease.

The true heart of this experience is the "Bon Ton Galant" – the art of cultivated encounter and elegant movement. In our courses, you not only learn the festive sequences of steps but naturally internalize the refined posture and historical etiquette to which this gallant style obliges us. Thus you glide perfectly prepared, relaxed, and full of anticipation into our magnificent ball night.

For our Rococo week, historical attire is desired.
Absolute perfection is not demanded; the joy of appearance
and respect for the era take precedence.
The following styles serve for the fine distinction of the occasions:

Ladies: Strictly smaller panniers for legroom,
floor-clearing skirts, and a tight bodice.
The powdered hairstyle must remain completely suitable for dancing
(no extreme tower hairstyles).
Light dancing shoes (Louis heel).

Gentlemen: Close-fitting, open-worn justaucorps,
gilet, and culottes. White shirt with fine lace cuffs,
powdered wig (mandatory!), and dancing shoes with a heel.
The tricorne may not be worn in the hall.

There is no masking requirement at the ball.
However, a fitting historical mask is expressly recommended
for the unconstrained revelry of the Carnevale
and enriches the atmosphere.

• The Art of Gallantry: Encounter all guests of the ball week with that timeless gallantry and obliging courtesy that make the social interaction of the 18th century so incomparable.
• The Play of Society: Mingle freely among the guests. Whether at the communal souper, the promenade, or in the casino – the forging of new acquaintances and stimulating conversation are the true spirit of Le Bon Genre.
• Freedom of the Carnevale: At our festival, there is no distinction of class or rank. Every guest contributes to the magnificent success of the days and is cordially invited to surrender themselves freely to the merry revelry.
• Appreciation through Punctuality: As the various divertissements, courses, and excursions of the week are finely coordinated with one another, punctual attendance is a sign of respect towards the organizers and the society.

• Photographs and Court Painters: To preserve the illusion of the era, we ask that mobile telephones be silenced in the hall and used only discreetly. Since we forgo our own "court painter", we are all the more grateful for every guest who captures the most beautiful moments and shares them with the society in our photo album.

• Ticket Sales and the Foundation of the Ball Week: In order to guarantee the magnificent execution of the festivities, we respectfully request your timely booking starting with the advance sales on September 1, 2026. As the Grand Masquerade Ball forms the center of our days together, the realization of all courses and divertissements is strictly bound to it taking place. The prerequisite for this is an assembly of at least 50 persons by December 31, 2026.
• Accommodation & Concierge Service: Take advantage of our new exclusive and complimentary concierge service. Most hotel rooms are reserved for our guests until January 31, 2027!
• Culinary Delights and Own Reckoning: Apart from our festive buffet volant, we ask you to note that all beverages are to be settled directly by each guest themselves.
• Baroque Means of Payment: As modern sleight of hand with cards will fail within the historical walls of the Residenz, we respectfully request that you carry a sufficiently filled purse of cash with you at the ball for personal consumption notes and expenses.
• We respectfully point out that from September 1, the ball is exclusively available to our guests with the arrangements "Petit Forfait" & "Grand Forfait" as well as individual bookings (thus, upon reaching the minimum number of participants, one can round off their individual program with the then available individual bookings).
• Binding Nature of Registration: Upon reaching the respective minimum number of participants, the hosting of the ball week or the individual courses is considered secured. We respectfully point out that from this moment on, all acquired tickets attain their full binding nature. A cancellation or refund of the ticket price is excluded from then on.

Should the minimum number of participants, contrary to expectations, not be reached
and the event must be canceled on our part,
the paid fee will naturally be refunded to you in full
and without deductions.
